Markus is one of Sweden’s most influential directors in commercials and music videos. He directed some of the truly iconic music videos of the 1990s for artists such as Teddybears, Mando Diao, and many others. Since then, he has gone on to direct commercials and has worked with brands such as Polestar, Folksam, Ving and Swedish Post Code Lottery. He has won multiple awards, including the People’s Choice Award and a Silver for Best Commercial at Roygalan for his work.
Markus’s debut feature film Ghabe was nominated for two Guldbagge Awards: Best Male Lead and Best Supporting Actor, the latter of which was won by Ahmad Fadel.
