Oscar Byström

Oscar is a director with a strong aesthetic vision. His films are defined by precision and an elegant visual language, where the portrayal of genuine emotion often takes centre stage. From northern Sweden, with roots in snowboard films, graffiti, wilderness and hip hop, his work carries rhythm and energy, with a clear sense of music and timing. Music-making remains an active part of his creative expression (OG Otäck on Spotify). Where emotion, form and people meet, Oscar finds his natural place – with tonal precision and clarity that reflect a distinctly Nordic cinematic language.
